Mark A. La Mantia, the firm's President and sole shareholder, has over 27 years of experience in the law. Mr. La Mantia is licensed in several states (North Carolina, Illinois, and Oregon on inactive status) and during the past 27 plus years, he has represented numerous business and individual clients. In addition to development, planning and contracts/transactional representation, Mr. La Mantia has also been very active in litigation and dispute resolution and has represented clients in front of various federal and state courts throughout the country, in arbitration and mediation proceedings, in administrative proceedings, and in matters involving government agencies and compliance or rights and benefits administration. He is a North Carolina certified mediator, and a member of the American Bar Association in addition to the North Carolina and other State Bar Associations. He has been a speaker and/or author for various seminars and presentations for the ABA, North Carolina Bar Association, National Business Institute, and other sponsors, groups and organizations.

Mr. La Mantia is active in the community and donates his time and provides assistance and support to various groups and charities, including the Wake County Teen Court Program, the Boy Scouts of America (Venture Crew 501), the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, and the Triangle Italian American Heritage Association.
